A soon as it was daylight on the morning after Cyclone Yasi had visited Tully three of us jumped in a council ute (that’s a pickup truck for non-Australians) and carried out a photographic survey of damage caused by the storm.
We covered about 60% of Tully and soon had the images winging their way to the relevant authorities. Here are some of the pictures I haven’t published before:
